According to the ministry's statements, there is a visit of soldiers scheduled on the German frigate "Baden-Württemberg," which, like the logistic support ship "Frankfurt am Main," is participating in the multinational exercise "Rimpac 2024." The maneuvers take place every two years and are taking place this year in the waters around Hawaii.

The Federal Military announced that their troops will be visiting the Philippines during their participation in the Indopacific exercise, Rimpac 2024. Boris Pistorius, the Defense Minister, mentioned this during a press conference. The German frigate "Baden-Württemberg" and the logistic support ship "Frankfurt am Main" are expected to make troop visits to South Korea as part of Rimpac 2024. Pistorius emphasized the importance of these visits to strengthen diplomatic ties and promote peace.
