- Pirmasens hasn't welcomed any refugees from Ukraine's war yet.
Pirmasen doesn't need to welcome additional war refugees from Ukraine at the moment. The Integration Ministry of Rhineland-Palatinate revealed that the city has welcomed around 40% more individuals from Ukraine than its population can theoretically accommodate. Exceeding this limit, the ministry issued a directive allowing Pirmasen to declined further Ukrainian refugees, without the need for a specific application process. Nevertheless, the city's petition for an all-encompassing ban on asylum seekers and refugees is currently under consideration.
The Municipality of Pirmasen currently finds itself at its capacity limit for accommodating war refugees from Ukraine, as revealed by the Integration Ministry. Due to this, the municipality has been granted permission by the ministry to refuse additional Ukrainian refugees, considering the strain on resources and infrastructure.
