Phoenix Lübeck lets fans decide on admission price
Regional soccer league club 1. FC Phönix Lübeck will let the spectators decide how much they want to pay for their next home game. As the club announced on Tuesday, the "Pay-What-You-Want" campaign will apply next Saturday. The second-placed team from Lübeck will then face league leaders Holstein Kiel II in the top match.
"The spectators themselves determine the price of their ticket at their own discretion," said a club statement. There are "a number of soccer fans who should not be underestimated and for whom the regular ticket price represents a major financial challenge, especially when it comes to taking the whole family to the stadium." The club wants to counteract this with its campaign.
Fans of Phoenix Lübeck, the second-placed team in the Regional League North, have the opportunity to decide their own ticket prices for the upcoming home game against Holstein Kiel II, as the club has introduced a "Pay-What-You-Want" campaign. This move is aimed at soccer fans who may find the regular ticket price a significant financial challenge, particularly for families.
