Final game in the series - Personal assessment of Germany's national soccer squad

Reviewing the performances of individual players:

Neuer: Two impressive saves against Tzolis (6th minute) were followed by an unexpected blunder - this time with repercussions. Nagelsmann needs to address his starting goalkeeper.

Kimmich: Amid little pressure, no dangerous flanks, and being overrun defensively, the Munich star must show more for his hopes of playing in the mega tournament.

Rudiger: Working hard, the defense leader didn't expect it. Mostly solid, but lapses in concentration occurred.

Tah: Reliable factor for the German team. The defender can maintain his club form better than his Bayern teammates. Energetically saved several times.

Mittelstädt: Moved to the left this time. No impact in attack, and too slow during counterattacks. His worst game for the national team. Substituted at half-time.

Andrich: No quality deliveries. He made more mistakes than he thought he had all season with Bayern. As a backup for Kroos, he should avoid an EM disaster.

Kroos: Tried to create order, often moving about, but not at his best. Unusual: He failed to spot a dangerous position in front of the opponents' goal.

Musiala: Blundered with a pass and remained sluggish throughout. He looked unusually tired. Needs some revitalization before the EM.

Gündogan: Went missing. Had no impact alongside Havertz. Despite the running efforts, the tournament's form of the team captain is questioned.

Wirtz: Became a "magician without effect." Exhaustion after the title triumph with Bayer was evident. Substituted at halftime for Sané.

Havertz: Arsenal striker showcased his goalscoring prowess. Is a contender for the central position Gündogan vacated. That could also be a possibility for the EM.

Sané: A courageous performance, soon getting involved, assisting Havertz, and helping out in defense. Nagelsmann hopes that his shin injury will clear up.

Raum: Entered during the second half. Spent most of his time defending on the left wing. To replace Mittelstädt, he needs to up his offensive investment.

Schlotterbeck: No BVB final impact. As a backup defender for Nagelsmann, he was attentive. Blocked a Greek counterattack (74th minute).

Gross: Showcased his game-organizing skills even as a substitute. And then scored the winning goal. The English professional may be a decisive factor at the EM.

Füllkrug: No joker goal for the Dortmund player. Nagelsmann's top striker will wait for his EM opportunity.

Henrichs: One reckless challenge (83rd minute). That was his only notable moment in approximately 20 reserve minutes for Kimmich.
