Police operation - Perpetrators spray laughing gas on regional train
Several people have sprayed laughing gas on a regional train from Tübingen to Stuttgart. On Saturday afternoon, the perpetrators filled balloons with nitrous oxide, which then got into the rest of the carriage, according to the police. When a passenger asked them to stop and pointed out that another passenger had a respiratory illness, the perpetrators are said to have deliberately sprayed the laughing gas in his direction. When the train arrived in Stuttgart, the Federal Police took two of the suspects, a 16-year-old and a 19-year-old, to the station. The federal police are now investigating dangerous bodily harm.
