Weather - Permafrost and icy conditions in Berlin and Brandenburg

Drivers, cyclists and pedestrians beware: on Sunday it will remain frosty and in some places slippery in Berlin and Brandenburg. According to the German Weather Service (DWD), there will still be some fresh snow locally until midday. During the day, dense clouds will cover the sky. Maximum temperatures will be between minus two and zero degrees.

In the night to Monday, some fog may also form on clearer days, with temperatures of minus three to minus six degrees, and minus eight degrees near the ground. It may snow a little in Prignitz on Monday morning. During the day it will be mostly dry and cloudy.

There is an increased risk of slippery conditions in some places on Tuesday night due to light fresh snow and freezing rain. People should also be careful on Tuesday due to icy conditions. According to the DWD, temperatures will be between minus two and plus two degrees.
