District of Groß-Gerau - Pepper spray sprayed in school: 22 people affected

An 18-year-old allegedly sprayed pepper spray at a comprehensive school in Ginsheim-Gustavsburg on Monday, causing eye and respiratory tract irritation to 22 people. Most of those affected were schoolgirls and three teachers, as the police reported on Monday. Some of those affected received medical treatment as a result. The police are now investigating the 18-year-old for causing grievous bodily harm. The pepper spray that was allegedly used has been seized.
