Accidents - Pedestrian trapped under van and injured

A 27-year-old woman was hit and trapped by a van in Neu-Hohenschönhausen on Monday evening. According to initial investigations, the woman is said to have run across the road to catch a bus at the bus stop opposite, as the police reported on Tuesday morning. While crossing Vincent-van-Gogh-Straße, she was hit by a car. The 27-year-old was taken to hospital with injuries to her upper body. The 38-year-old driver of the van was uninjured. A specialized police department for traffic offences is investigating the circumstances of the accident.
