A pedestrian was fatally injured in Harsewinkel-Greffen (Circle of Gütersloh) after being hit by a car. The 77-year-old was pushing his e-bike on the right side of the road when the accident occurred, as reported by the police.

The man was struck from behind by a 22-year-old driver traveling in the same direction at the intersection. The impact threw the pedestrian off to the side of the road, where he died. The driver sustained minor injuries.

According to police, the speed limit on the road where the accident occurred is 100 kilometers per hour. The speed of the car was not initially known. The accident site was unlit.

The 22-year-old driver was operating a car at the time of the accident. After the collision, the pedestrian was found near the car.
