A 64-year-old female pedestrian has been hit by a car and seriously injured in Saalfeld (Saalfeld-Rudolstadt district). The woman was crossing a crosswalk on Saalstraße on Thursday afternoon, as the police reported on Friday. A 54-year-old man hit the woman with his car as he was turning.
