A 74-year-old pedestrian has been hit by a car in Altenburg and seriously injured. The man was trying to cross a road at a junction on Saturday, police said on Sunday. A 75-year-old woman hit the man with her car as she turned, seriously injuring him. Witnesses and helpers provided first aid to the man until the emergency services arrived.
