Traffic - Pedestrian hit and seriously injured
A 74-year-old pedestrian has been hit by a car in Altenburg and seriously injured. The man was trying to cross a road at a junction on Saturday, police said on Sunday. A 75-year-old woman hit the man with her car as she turned, seriously injuring him. Witnesses and helpers provided first aid to the man until the emergency services arrived. An investigation was opened against the driver for negligent bodily injury.
