Traffic - Pedestrian hit and seriously injured
A pedestrian has been hit by a car in Lower Franconia and seriously injured. According to police reports on Thursday, the man was thrown around 20 meters through the air near Kolitzheim (district of Schweinfurt) in the accident the previous evening. He lay seriously injured and was no longer responsive. The man was taken to hospital. It was initially unclear why the accident occurred.

The incident took place in the district of Schweinfurt, which is part of Lower Franconia in Germany.
