A 27-year-old pedestrian was hit and fatally injured after a party in Emsland on Sunday night. According to police information, the man had run onto the road in Niederlangen for an initially unknown reason. According to the police, a 34-year-old driver was unable to brake or swerve in time and hit the man with his car.
