Emsland - Pedestrian hit and fatally injured after party

A 27-year-old pedestrian was hit and fatally injured after a party in Emsland on Sunday night. According to police information, the man had run onto the road in Niederlangen for an initially unknown reason. According to the police, a 34-year-old driver was unable to brake or swerve in time and hit the man with his car.

Despite medical treatment on site, the 27-year-old died at the scene of the accident. The young man had previously been at a party in a pub - which is why two emergency counselors came to the scene of the accident to look after his relatives.
