Probes into the matter are ongoing. - Pax Europa's treasurer discusses a "terrorist incident".

"The assailant didn't just brutally beat Michael Stürzenberger with a knife in his leg and face, but also gravely wounded a law enforcement agent. The police officer had to be airlifted out," she expressed.

In response to an inquiry from dpa, she also mentioned that she had not witnessed the incident firsthand. Hence, she couldn't confirm if the attacker had uttered any words. "All speculations," she stated. However, she had watched the video of the incident.

The Citizens' Movement Pax Europa is situated in Krefeld. According to the North Rhine-Westphalia Constitutional Protection, the Constitutional Protection Agency doesn't monitor the movement. Six individuals, including the attacker, were injured during the knife attack.

As the public prosecutor, police, and state criminal police stated on Friday in Mannheim, five members of the movement sustained injuries, while the attacker repeatedly pierced a police officer's head. The police officer subsequently fired at the assailant, causing injuries to the latter.
