Aleksandar Pavlovic, a national football player, admired Toni Kroos and Bastian Schweinsteiger during his childhood. "I really like how Kroos plays," the 20-year-old shared in a Sky interview and further expressed, "I also find Schweinsteiger's mindset and style captivating."

Regarding playing with his idols in the national team, Pavlovic remarked, "This is insane! To be a part of the national team now, team up with Bayern Munich players, and acquire experiences like the Champions League semi-final versus Real Madrid at the Bernabeu. I'm living out my dreams and feel so grateful."

Considering his mandelentzündung back in March, Pavlovic had to miss the national team matches in France and against the Netherlands. There's a possibility that he may undergo surgery to remove his mandels as he's suffered two to three episodes of this condition.

"I might have to go through a mandel removal process because I've had to deal with two to three mandelentzündungen, and it always impacts me physically." Regarding the timing of the surgery, he added, "Most likely, I'll need to cancel my vacation plans for it. It's more essential. I don't want to be unwell again and miss two to three weeks. Right now, I'm concentrating on the European Championship. Hopefully, I'm among the final selections."

Pavlovic's dream of representing Germany's national team was fueled by watching Toni Kroos and Bastian Schweinsteiger, both hailing from Bavaria and playing for FC Bayern Munich. In Herzogenaurach, a city known for Adidas and soccer, the young athlete aspired to follow in their footsteps. The DFB, Germany's soccer governing body, selected Pavlovic for the national team, and he felt a sense of fulfillment as he trained and played alongside his idols.

Despite missing out on matches against France and the Netherlands due to a mandelentzündung, Pavlovic remained focused on his goal of competing in the upcoming European Championship (EM). Should he require surgery to address recurring mandelentzündungen, Pavlovic would prioritize his recovery, knowing that his overall health and participation at the EM were crucial. As the German national team prepared for qualifying matches, fans in Bavaria and beyond watched the progress of this promising young talent.
