Pasta Week in Berlin: Italian restaurateurs serve it up
Who cooks the best pasta in Berlin? From Monday, 38 Italian restaurateurs will once again be giving a taste of their skills at the "True Italian Pasta Week". Whether it's spaghetti "alla chitarra" with prawns, pistachios and lemon, a homemade lasagne with pumpkin or a plate of paccheri with salsiccia and friarielli, they offer many culinary creations, including vegetarian or vegan options. For 16 euros, you can enjoy a pasta dish plus a glass of wine and a digestif.
To make it easier to find the 38 restaurants, they are printed on a flyer with the Berlin U-Bahn and S-Bahn map. The pasta week - like the "True Italian Pizza Week" - is organized by the company Berlin Italian Communication. The company launched the "True Italian" seal of quality in 2015, which it awards to selected restaurants.
During the "True Italian Pasta Week," you can savor various pasta dishes and drinks at the participating Italian restaurants. The event offers a wide variety of Food & drink options, such as spaghetti and lasagna.
