Despite the recovery in passenger traffic, Frankfurt on the Main's airport still lags behind pre-pandemic levels. With 4.6 million passengers in November, the Air traffic was 9.4% lower than in November 2019. The coronavirus has significantly impacted Frankfurt Airport's passenger traffic, as highlighted by Fraport's data. In an effort to combat this, Fraport continues to focus on improving air traffic, looking towards a time when numbers may return to normal. Germany, being a key travel destination, remains a crucial part of Frankfurt Airport's recovery plan.
