After a string of warnings about potential violence at schools recently, a parental organization has urged for more efficient communication methods between school administration and parents to handle these situations effectively. The parents' lobby (LEV) declared on Sunday that "all schools must have digital communication tools in place so that the school authorities can rapidly connect with parents and provide reliable updates." They advocated for the adoption of certain apps which are already utilized by certain school officials for instant updates between the school's management and the parents of students.

The statement also stressed the significance of "limiting the spread of messages during such instances." Currently, parents are accommodated through email or phone at numerous institutions.

Just last month, a bomb threat was emailed to a school in Erfurt, which resulted in the school's closure on that day. The police issued a timely warning.
