At the Bielefeld District Court, a case about the murder of a newborn is set to start on Tuesday morning (8:30 am). The accused parents, a 20-year-old woman and a 22-year-old man, stand accused by the public prosecutor for this heinous crime. It is alleged that these individuals had premeditated the killing of their child before it was even born, snubbing offers to help them raise their kid.

The baby suffered multiple stab wounds, resulting in its death shortly after it was born in a Bielefeld apartment. The suspects packed the deceased child in a cooler bag and subsequently carried it into a wooded area in Bielefeld in the middle of the night. Clues leads to their arrest in December 2023. The father eventually confessed, providing vital information leading to the discovery of the child's body disposal site.
