Palliative care doctor allegedly killed four patients in Berlin

The 39-year-old is suspected of committing these acts in the districts of Neukölln and Plänterwald, as investigators further reported. He is believed to have killed the patients in their homes between June 11 and July 24 using an unknown method, and then set fire to the scenes. He is being investigated for manslaughter in four cases, one count of aggravated arson, and three counts of attempted aggravated arson.

The deceased women were reportedly between 72 and 94 years old. An 87-year-old was revived by firefighters at the scene but later died in the hospital.

The case is being handled by the authorities, with the Office of the Prosecutor overseeing the investigation due to the gravity of the charges. Following this incident, public safety measures have been intensified in the affected districts of Neukölln and Plänterwald.
