Owner may keep Immenhof near Bispingen for the time being
An estate in the Lüneburg Heath has been causing a stir for years due to numerous foreclosure dates. The approximately 42-hectare Immenhof estate in Hützel in the municipality of Bispingen belongs to a former Hamburg businessman who is now allowed to keep it for the time being. "This is a special property, but the condition of the buildings is deplorable," says Jens Bülthuis, non-party mayor of the municipality of Bispingen. The auction proceedings have only been interrupted and temporarily suspended by the Soltau district court.
Debts of over 13 million euros are entered in the land register, Bülthuis confirms: "There are almost a hundred creditors on the chicken ladder." The numerous claims relate to invoices from tradesmen, the municipality or even an unpaid car. But it is also a fact that pressing debts, such as those owed to the municipality, were repeatedly triggered.
The property, which was a children's and youth home until 1990, is said to have a market value of 320,000 euros due to its poor condition. In 2022, there is said to have been a highest bid of 5.5 million euros, this year of 3.1 million euros in an attempt at a forced sale. As the property creditor, the municipality successfully vetoed the bid.
There was also unrest last year when the site was temporarily occupied by newcomers. "The camp is said to have fallen into the genre of ethnic settlers," says Bülthuis. If there were interested parties from this group who were interested in the property, this was no longer an issue in the last proceedings at the district court. Several media outlets had previously reported on this.
The former businessman, despite the deplorable condition of the buildings, is currently permitted to keep his real estate property, Immenhof, located near Bispingen. Despite numerous foreclosure dates and debts of over 13 million euros, the property, once a children's and youth home, has been valued at only 320,000 euros due to its poor condition.
