Over twenty individuals sustained injuries during a blaze on a massive Ferris wheel at a celebration close to Leipzig.

Injured individuals were transported to local medical facilities, and law enforcement dispatched rescue helicopters, as per reports. The flames were put out. The police official remained mum on the reason behind the blaze.

The annual Highfield Festival unfolds at Störmthaler See close to Leipzig. Approximately 30,000 music enthusiasts made their way there to enjoy acts by performers like Peter Fox and Cro, as per event organizers.

The Highfield Festival, which usually attracts around 30,000 people, was scheduled to take place on the 20th of this month at Störmthaler See. Despite the festivities, emergency services were not needed that day.
