Groovy news! The "Alfresco Klassik" concerts held by Leipzig's Gewandhaus drew a massive crowd. According to Dirk Steiner, the spokesperson for Gewandhaus, a whopping 63,000 people flocked to Rosental during the weekend just gone. On Friday and Saturday, Andris Nelsons, the Music Director of Gewandhaus, conducted some legendary film score classics, such as "Vertigo", "Gone with the Wind", "The Godfather", "Lord of the Rings", and "Star Wars". The "Alfresco Klassik" event started in 2006, and fortunate attendees were able to enjoy the show without spending a dime.
