The TV show "Euphoria" is currently casting over 3000 extras for its German adaptation, as was announced by Eick & Weber, the production agency. The series will be aired on RTL+.
The story follows the life of Mila, a 16-year-old character who's grappling with the issues of growing up and the growing sense of exhaustion from the world.
The show is in need of over 3000 extras and supporting actors. As per Eick, the managing director of the production, people of all ethnicities, nationalities, genders, and gender identities, regardless of age, including babies, are invited. They're also looking for a large number of schoolchildren, teachers, handball and hockey players, swimming pool visitors, bartenders, doormen, and more.
Besides the extras, there are minor roles that will require several shooting days with the actors for which people with acting experience are encouraged to apply.
The shootings are planned from early July until late November with most of them happening in Cologne, Remagen, Duisburg, and Gelsenkirchen. To apply for these roles, interested individuals can do so at https://ep.casting-eick.de and the deadline for submissions is October 31st.
The show is set to include various party scenes, featuring everything from a rave, a foam party, to a large-scale carnival party where costumes are a must.
