Approximately 163 million Euros in fines were collected by the state last year, marking a new high, as per the Bavarian Police Administration's report. In the traffic domain, there was a nearly 2.5% surge in detectedviolations, amounting to almost two million. This figure is significantly higher than the one recorded in the previous year. The staggering increase of over 20% in the number of penalty orders issued also indicates a rise from 2022 levels.
