Movie - Organizers present programme for Ophüls Festival
The organizers of the Max Ophüls Preis film festival are presenting the programme for the 45th edition today (10:00 a.m.). In addition to festival director Svenja Böttger, program director Theresa Winkler and managing director and Saarbrücken's head of cultural affairs Sabine Dengel are also expected to attend.
The next festival will take place in four competition categories from January 22 to 28, 2024 in a dual format in Saarbrücken and at selected locations in Saarland. A selection of the films will once again be available to stream via the film festival website.
The Max Ophüls Prize is considered the most important festival for young German-language film and stands for the discovery of young talent from Austria, Germany and Switzerland.
