The statistics show that approximately 57% of Saxony's green businesses raised animals (which included 32,200 cows, 6,900 sheep, 4,600 pigs, and 180,500 chickens). Thus, about 8% of the cows, 9% of the sheep, 1% of the pigs, and 4% of the chickens were reared in an eco-friendly manner in Saxony.
