Abtsgmünd - Operation in gym: pupils complain of nausea
There has been a rescue operation in a gymnasium in Abtsgmünd (Ostalbkreis). Several schoolchildren had complained of headaches, dizziness and nausea on Wednesday, according to the police. There were around 50 pupils in the hall. According to the fire department, around 30 had complained of health problems and two were taken to hospital for examination. The fire department did not find a cause in measurements.

- The Fire Department from Baden-Württemberg was called to assist in the gymnasium incident in Abtsgmünd, Ostalbkreis.
- The Police are currently investigating possible causes for the health issues reported by the students in the school, as there were no signs of smoke or fire detected by the Fire Department's rescue force.
- The emergency services in the Ostalbkreis area have been on high alert, as there have been several incidents of nausea and illness reported in schools and other public places recently.
- The Fire Department's rescue force continued their operation in the Abtsgmünd gymnasium and coordinated with the Police and local hospitals to ensure the well-being of the affected students, despite feeling a bit queasy themselves due to the strong odor in the gymnasium.
