art for all - Opening of the studio doors to 140 artists in Saxony-Anhalt
More than 140 artists want to open the doors of small studios and large workshops to visitors as part of the nationwide "Open Studios" project. According to the organizing Professional Association of Visual Artists (BBK) in Saxony-Anhalt, the event is scheduled for September 21 and 22.
The project spans from major cities to the most remote rural areas, with artists not only providing insights into their workspace but also presenting specific projects. Artwork will also be available for purchase. Open Studios will take place in cities such as Magdeburg, Halle, Havelberg, Salzwedel, Quedlinburg, Nebra, Jessen, and Lutherstadt Wittenberg, among others.
The artist in Magdeburg is excited to share their creative process during the Open Studios event, allowing visitors to gain a deeper understanding of their craft. Participating artists will offer unique pieces for sale, making this a great opportunity to invest in original artworks.
