Traffic - Open arrest warrants, no driver's license: Escape from police
With two outstanding arrest warrants but without a driver's license, a man in Solingen fled from a police check first by car and then on foot. According to the police on Wednesday, the 30-year-old driver was asked to stop with stop signals. However, he ignored the signals on Wednesday night and accelerated his car after a subsequent verbal request from the police. They then followed him. The man then stopped his journey in order to escape on foot. The police were able to apprehend him. It turned out that the man did not have a valid driver's license and had two warrants for his arrest. He was arrested.
