A fire has partially destroyed the roof of a multi-family residential building in Ubstadt-Weiher (Karlsruhe district). A resident suffered moderate injuries, according to the fire department, and was hospitalized with burns and a smoke inhalation injury. No information has been provided yet on the cause or the extent of the damage.

The firefighters rescued one person from the apartment affected by the fire. The other residents had already evacuated safely. In total, 18 people were evacuated from the multi-family house.
