Fire - One man in hospital after fire in Berlin-Mariendorf

A man suffered serious injuries in an apartment fire on Monday night in Berlin-Mariendorf (Tempelhof-Schöneberg). A fire broke out in a room for reasons that are still unclear and spread to the roof truss of the apartment building, said a fire department spokesperson on Monday morning. The fire department was on the scene with 54 firefighters. The injured man was taken to hospital for inpatient treatment. The spokesman was unable to provide any information on the man's age or the amount of damage.
