- One child and three adults seriously injured in accident
In a collision between two cars in the Salzland district, four people were seriously injured, including a five-year-old child. A 30-year-old man attempted to turn left with his car in the Gross Boernke suburb on Friday evening, the police reported. In doing so, he failed to notice the car of a 20-year-old woman who was traveling with the five-year-old child. The vehicles collided head-on.
The 20-year-old and the child were so severely injured that they had to be transported to a hospital by helicopter. The driver at fault and his passenger were also taken to a clinic for treatment.
The 30-year-old man was driving his car when the accident occurred. After the collision, both damaged vehicles needed to be towed away.
