On Monday, Baerbock embarks on a trip to Israel and the West Bank for discussions on Middle Eastern affairs.

During the chats, topics won't just revolve around the conflict in Gaza and its humanitarian predicament, as per the Foreign Office, but also the pursuit of a two-state resolution. Moreover, the nerve-wracking and precarious state at the border between Israel and Lebanon will be under scrutiny. Notably, Baerbock recently visited Israel towards the end of April, where she had a sit-down with Minister President Benjamin Netanyahu among others.

Baerbock's trip on Monday will take her to Ramallah in the West Bank, as well as to Israel. The Middle East talks in Herzlia and Tel Aviv will be a key part of her visit. The discussions will focus not only on the crisis in Gaza but also on seeking a two-state solution. The Gaza Strip and its humanitarian predicament, as well as the border tension between Israel and Lebanon, are expected to be major topics. Recalling her previous visit to Israel in April, Baerbock met with Minister President Benjamin Netanyahu. The Israeli-Palestinian conflict is a complex issue, with Hamas as a key player, and Jerusalem at the heart of the dispute. According to the Associated Press (AA), the West Bank is also a major area of tension.
