Maximilian Ulbrich from Wielenbach and Anna Janßen from Freising have earned their spot at the Paris Olympics. During a recent competition in Munich, Janßen, the 22-year-old top-ranked shooter, triumphed over Lisa Mueller, sealing her spot.

"I'm over the moon about this. Taking part in the Olympics has always been a dream of mine," said Janßen, reflecting on her win and her upcoming participation. Regarding her recent experience, she added, "It might be a good thing that I encountered some difficulties in this competition. It'll give me more experience for the future."

Meanwhile, Ulbrich, a 23-year-old, also advanced to the Olympics, securing his place at the shooting range in Garching-Hochbruck near Munich. Like Janßen, this will be Ulbrich's first Olympic Games. Although he had previously dominated internal contests against Maximilian Dallinger, with 6.7 more rings at the final tally, Ulbrich wasn't certain of his fate due to the weight of the multiplier rule and the 40% importance of the Munich World Cup.

"I'm feeling immense relief," Ulbrich shared. "We've been under tremendous stress and pressure since January. Despite my two-year internal dominance, I couldn't be sure of my spot until now."
