- Olise trains with FC Bayern for the first time
New signing Michael Olise has joined Bayern Munich and started training with the team. As the German football record champions announced, the 22-year-old Olympic participant, who played for France, joined Serge Gnabry and Alphonso Davies on the training pitch on Wednesday morning.
In the session led by coach Vincent Kompany, two days before the team's first competitive match in the DFB-Pokal against SSV Ulm on Friday (8:45 PM), the focus was on tactical routines alongside position-specific exercises.
Olise has signed a contract with Bayern Munich until the summer of 2029. He reportedly cost the FC Bayern around 60 million euros in transfer fees, including bonuses, from Premier League club Crystal Palace. Olise lost with France in the Olympic final against Spain.
Olise's new home for the next several years will be in the renowned football landscape of Bavaria, specifically with Bayern Munich. After his impressive performance in France's Olympic team, Olise will now train alongside Bayern's star players like Serge Gnabry and Alphonso Davies.
