A middle-aged fella, age 50, cruising the highway, had a rather unfortunate encounter at the Magdeburg interchange. During the transition from A2 to A14, towards Dresden, he allegedly veered off course. When he got back on track, he had slammed into a traffic marker and a traffic pillar. Lucky for him, he escaped any harm. A breathalyzer test later detected a level of 3.89% alcohol in his system. He was hauled in by the cops for blood extraction. His driver's license was confiscated right then and there, and an inquiry was commenced for putting road safety at risk due to alcohol impairment.
