Petra Grimm-Benne, the Social Minister from SPD, shared this intention at a conference on further education in Halle. "Within the regional alliance, we aim to provide extensive training opportunities and connected guidance services that maximize employment prospects," she stated. Ms. Grimm-Benne emphasized the need to improve ties between eastern German skilled labor and further education projects, such as those offered by "further education agencies." These agencies are already present in Saxony-Anhalt, totaling four in number. Their responsibility would be to centralize and harmonize services for vocational and professional development. This includes standardizing points of contact for both businesses and employees in different regions.
