In Southern Germany, heavy storms were still rumbling in the night from Friday to Saturday. However, the situation had calmed down by morning, as reported by the German Weather Service (DWD). This should also be the case during the day: rain and occasional thunderstorms possible, reports the DWD. The weather front is moving over the northwest of the country, according to the warning map from Saturday morning. In addition, there are stiff gales, and gales are expected on Sunday.

In the morning, it is cloudy in many places, it can rain in the east and at the Bodensee. Isolated local showers are also possible. In the afternoon, the weather deteriorates especially in the northwest and in the southeast. According to DWD reports, short thunderstorms and rain are possible in these areas. Elsewhere, it remains mostly dry and sunny. On Sunday night, the DWD expects further showers and strong winds at the North Sea.
