During the day, there will be scattered thunderstorms mainly in the northeast and north, later also in the east and in the Alpine region. In the southeast, there will be heavy rain, strong winds, and small hail.
In North Rhine-Westphalia, particularly in the northwestern part, there are expected to be individual showers and thunderstorms on this Tuesday. According to the forecast of the German Weather Service (DWD), there may also be strong to stormy winds. In the north and west, the highest temperatures are expected to be between 21 to 25 degrees, while the rest of the area will be between 25 to 29 degrees.
Berlin and Brandenburg are expected to have more thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening hours. It will remain mostly dry at night. The lowest temperatures will be around 13 degrees with a light wind from the southwest. Thunderstorms are also expected in the Alps in the evening.
The DWD issued a warning for wind gusts mainly in the north and the North Sea coast. Strong winds are not excluded in some mountain peaks (Brocken).
