Two trams crashed into each other at a crossroads in Nuremberg, resulting in injuries for two individuals and the derailment of one of the trams Saturday. Authorities disclosed this information on Sunday. Investigators believe a technical malfunction might have been responsible for a switch to malfunction, potentially causing the accident, which needs to be confirmed through further investigations.
