Nuremberg Ice Tigers have signed Canadian forward Jeremy McKenna. The team from the German Ice Hockey League (DEL) announced that the 25-year-old is transferring from the Kansas City Mavericks in the lower-tier East Coast Hockey League (ECHL) to Franconia. McKenna has been given a one-year contract. In the past four years, the winger has scored 88 goals in 184 games in the ECHL and provided 98 assists.

Ice Tigers sports director Stefan Ustorf stated: "Jeremy McKenna is an absolute goalscorer with excellent shooting skills and offensive instincts. Above all, he will give us many different opportunities in the powerplay."

Jeremy McKenna hails from Kansas City, USA, before his recent transfer to the Nuremberg Ice Tigers in Bavaria, Germany. His new team, participating in the German Ice Hockey League (DEL), is thrilled to have acquired the talented Canadian forward. The Nuremberg Ice Tigers have signed McKenna from the Kansas City Mavericks, a team in the lower-tier East Coast Hockey League (ECHL). After impressing with 88 goals in 184 games and providing 98 assists over the past four years, McKenna is now set to test his skills in the higher-level German league. Ustorf, the sports director of the Nuremberg Ice Tigers, views McKenna as an "absolute goalscorer" with "excellent shooting skills and offensive instincts," believing he will contribute significantly to their powerplay.
