- Numerous Vodafone consumers are currently devoid of mobile and internet services.

Loads of Vodafone users in Brandenburg and Mecklenburg-Vorpommern are facing troubles due to a service disruption. Nearly 9,900 landline users and 2,729 mobile users have been sans cable TV, high-speed internet, and phone connections since last night, as confirmed by a Vodafone rep.

According to Vodafone, certain parts of their fixed network and mobile network in areas like Breddin (Ostprignitz-Ruppin district), Wittenberge (Prignitz district), Ludwigslust, Grabow, and Hagenow (all in the Ludwigslust-Parchim district) are encountering problems. Previously, the media had reported on these issues.

The disruption kicked off at 00:51 AM and is a result of a technical glitch: A local exchange station in Strohkirchen, which serves as the connection point for the affected customers to both the fixed and mobile networks, has momentarily gone offline. The repairs are estimated to be wrapped up by latest Tuesday.

Despite the ongoing service disruption affecting numerous Vodafone users, some are still managing to stay connected through alternative means, such as using their mobile devices to access information via [The Internet]. Unfortunately, the disruption has also affected some mobile internet services in the affected areas.
