District of Aurich - Numerous operations due to strong gusts of wind
Due to partly strong wind gusts, the fire department in Aurich district was called out to numerous interventions. According to the county fire department, there were a total of 33 interventions on Saturday afternoon and evening. Mostly, uprooted trees had to be removed from the roads. More trees were threatening to uproot. In addition, several fence panels fell onto the road, and a scaffolding had to be secured against the wind. The fire department reported that no people were injured, and there was also no damage to buildings.
