Employment - Number of unemployed in Bavaria rises slightly in June

The number of unemployed in Bavaria increased by 0.5 percent in June compared to May, reaching 271,111. The unemployment rate remained unchanged at 3.5 percent, according to the Regional Direktion Bayern of the Federal Employment Agency, which announced this on Friday in Nuremberg. A year ago, the rate was 3.2 percent. The Regional Direktion used data up to June 13th for the statistics.
