November unemployment figures expected
The Regional Directorate of the Federal Employment Agency will report on the development of the labor market in Saxony-Anhalt in November on Thursday (10:00 a.m.). Unemployment in the federal state fell in October. A total of 80,300 people were registered as unemployed, around 900 fewer than in the previous month of September. The unemployment rate was 7.3 percent. However, employers reported significantly fewer vacancies than in October of the previous year. This mainly affected temporary work, the manufacturing industry and trade. For the regional directorate, this points to a weak economic fall.

However, the Labor market dynamics are more nuanced, as employers reported fewer job vacancies compared to the same month last year.
