Nuremberg - Not enough money for a roll: man attacks sales clerk

After she refused to give him a roll for half the price, a 67-year-old man threatened a sales clerk at Nuremberg Central Station. The man only had 20 cents with him instead of the required 40 cents, as the federal police reported on Tuesday. When the sales clerk insisted on the full price, the man threatened the 27-year-old behind the counter. He also tried to hit her with punches.

A Deutsche Bahn security patrol arrested the man after the incident on Monday morning. The federal police found a knife on him - but he had not used it. The 67-year-old now has to answer for attempted assault and threatening behavior.
