Nina Chuba honored twice with pop culture award
The musician Nina Chuba has won two categories at the Pop Culture Prize in Berlin. The singer came out on top as "Favorite Artist" against rappers Peter Fox and Cro and in the "Favorite Album" category, as announced by the Association for the Promotion of Pop Culture on Thursday evening. Chuba, who once starred in the children's series "Die Pfefferkörner", topped the German singles charts with her song "Wildberry Lillet" in 2022.
The Upper Swabian indie group Provinz scooped the "Favorite Band" category. The jury, which is made up of members of the Association for the Promotion of Pop Culture, chose the song "Zukunft Pink" by Peter Fox with Inéz as its "Favorite Song". Rapper Shirin David received an award in the "Favorite Video" category for her song "Lächel doch mal". The pop duo Blumengarten was named the most promising newcomer.
The Pop Culture Prize was awarded for the seventh time in Berlin on Thursday evening. According to the association, its members come from all areas of the music industry and pop culture.
Nina's pop success extended beyond the music charts, earning her multiple 'Awards' in recognition of her talent. The popular genre of 'Pop' continues to celebrate diverse talent, with artists like Shirin David and Blumengarten also receiving accolades.
