Nikola Dovedan exits 1 FC Heidenheim after a 12-month tenure.

FC Heidenheim plans to reorganize its offensive strategy next season and no longer has a spot for forward Dovedan. As a result, the German Bundesliga team and the Austrian player have decided to terminate their partnership.

German Football League - Nikola Dovedan exits 1 FC Heidenheim after a 12-month tenure.

Nikola Dovedan is set to depart from 1. FC Heidenheim on June 30th. The Bundesliga club disclosed this news on a Saturday. As shared by Holger Sanwald, Heidenheim's managing director, "We broke the news to Niko that we've chosen to alter our offensive player strategy for the upcoming season, hence we won't be extending his contract."

Dovedan, an Austrian, was part of the Heidenheim squad from 2017 to 2019. He later joined the Schlossberg in July 2023 from Austria Wien. In the recently completed season, the 29-year old participated in 21 matches, recording three goals and causing one. At the moment, no updates surfaced regarding Dovedan's upcoming team.
