Award-winning actor Nicole Kidman has hopped on board for a "Batman" project, excited at the possibility of locking lips with the caped crusader. In an interview with the American edition of fashion magazine "L'Officiel", the 57-year-old replied, "Folks always inquire, 'Why are you doing this?'" Regarding her role in the 1995 movie "Batman Forever", she simply responded, "Because I get to kiss Batman!" Kidman portrayed Dr. Chase Meridian, a psychologist, in the superhero film directed by Joel Schumacher, who develops a romantic interest in Batman (played by Val Kilmer).

The renowned Australian actress doesn't join big-budget productions for the financial gain, but to venture into unexplored territories. Her fascination with the "Aquaman" series, where she featured in 2018 and 2023, stemmed from director James Wan's expertise in horror films. When he reached out to her, she even mistook it for a horror project proposal.
